This is a gorgeous 8 x 10 inch print from the Original Negative of actress, BETTE DAVIS in a somewhat provocative glamour view for Vitagraph Corp/Warner Bros. 1933 pre-code film, “EX-LADY”. Portrait originally taken by photographer, ELMER FRYER. The film was made before the Motion Picture Production Code was in force. It was rather risque in subject matter (people having affairs without shame), in staging (double beds) and in the fairly revealing negligees that Bette Davis’s character wears. Printed the “old fashioned way”, directly from the Original Negative. This process is more time consuming but yields superior results. The photo is in EXCELLENT condition. Absolutely Gorgeous!
