This is a RARE original 8 x 10 inch DOUBLE WEIGHT Keybook publicity portrait of negligee clad, KITTY CARLISLE exhibiting a decadent sophistication in a elaborate boudoir setting. Publicity for Mitchell Leisen’s 1934 classic, “MURDER AT THE VANITIES”. The back of the photo has a Printed Caption and early Censor Stamp. The film featured Paramount’s best Glamor Girls of the era including Ann Sheridan in a unaccredited role. She was billed at the time under her real name, “Clara Lou Sheridan”. The film was set to emulate the real life “Earl Carroll Vanities” , a famous music and dance revue showcasing a bevy of showgirl clad beauties during the 1920’s-30’s!
