This is an original 8.25 x 10 inch full length publicity portrait of Hollywood starlet, SUSAN HAYWARD showcasing her fabulous swimsuit curves. An early and dazzling cheesecake view for her studio debut in Paramount Pictures 1939 film, “BEAU GESTE”. Printed Caption on verso. When her Warner Bros. contract lapsed, she moved to Paramount Pictures, where she was best known for more dramatic roles based on true stories. During her career she was nominated for five Academy Awards for Best Actress including “Smash-Up, the Story of a Woman” (1947), “My Foolish Heart” (1949), “With a Song in My Heart” (1952) and “I’ll Cry Tomorrow” (1955). She finally won for her portrayal of death row inmate Barbara Graham in “I Want to Live” (1958). The photo is in VERY FINE condition with minor corner creasing. Absolutely Gorgeous!
