This is a RARE original early 1940’s era, 8 x 10 inch full length publicity portrait of model and actress, MARGUERITE CHAPMAN showing off her fabulous form while modeling a swimsuit in this beach themed pin-up pose for Columbia Pictures. She modeled for the John Robert Powers Agency in New York City were she was discovered by mogul, Howard Hughes. After a screen test by Hughes she was persuaded to go to Hollywood in late 1939. The model turned actress became one of the famous pin-up beauties in Hollywood during the WWII era. The photo is in VERY FINE condition with minor border wear.
