This is an original circa 1941, 8.25 x 10 inch full length publicity portrait of Hollywood starlet, PEGGY MORAN showcasing her fabulous form and gorgeous gams in this delightful two-piece swimsuit. An early and dazzling cheesecake view for Paramount Pictures. Portrait by RAY JONES. Photographers Stamp on verso. The back of the photo also has remnants of a paper caption that was once attached. Moran’s film career began with Warner Bros. in the late 1930’s before she moved to Paramount Pictures. She was best known for her “B” film roles in “The Mummy’s Hand” (1940), “Slightly Tempted” (1940), “Horror Island” (1941), “Treat ‘Em Rough” (1942) and “King of the Cowboys” (her last film in 1943). Peggy Moran was the daughter of Earl Moran, an artist who specialized in pin-ups for calendars and magazines. She retired from acting when she married Director, Henry Koster on Oct.30, 1942.
