Description

This is a RARE original 8 x 10 inch full length publicity portrait of Hollywood starlet, MARI BLANCHARD showing off her gorgeous legs in a western style showgirl pose. This was her very first appearance in film with a uncredited role as a “Copa Girl” in United Artists 1947 musical comedy, “COPACABANA”. The film featured Groucho Marx and Carmen Miranda in the lead roles. This beautiful blue eyed blonde with a 36-25-36 inch figure became the inspiration for cartoonist, AL CAPP in creating his voluptuous character, “Stuperfyin’ Jones” for the popular “L’il Abner” comic strip series. The photo is in VERY FINE condition with light border smudges and minor corner wear. RARE OFFERING! I do combine shipping on multiple items. Shipping in Canada and the USA is 12.00.
