This is a VERY RARE original 8 x 10 inch DOUBLE WEIGHT studio portrait of 20 year old pin-up model, IRISH McCALLA. A rare pin-up view as a sexy sailor girl for the prestigious “Miss Navy” title in 1948. Portrait by BERNARD OF HOLLYWOOD. Marilyn Monroe would win the title in 1950. Irish McCalla was blessed with a luscious 39.5-24-38 inch figure, statuesque legs and a lean, hard-bodied physique. Her physical perfection in the modeling world, circa late 1940’s was truly breathtaking. She is best known as a “Alberto Vargas” pin-up model and for her role in the television series, “Sheena, Queen of the Jungle”. The photo is Matte Finish and in VERY FINE condition with minor wear.
