This is a RARE original 8 x 10 inch full length publicity portrait of Hollywood starlet, PIPER LAURIE showcasing her fabulous form in this tantalizing two-piece swimsuit. The earliest cheesecake view as she makes a splash for her film debut in Universal Pictures 1950 comedy, “LOUISA”. Still Number PL-P1 would be the first serialized image for publicity purposes. She was best known for her more dramatic pursuits and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Sarah Packard in the 20th Century Fox classic, “The Hustler” (1961). She was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Brian De Palma’s supernatural horror film, “Carrie” (1976). The photo is VERY FINE condition with minor wear.
