This is a VERY RARE original circa early 1950’s 8 x 10 inch portrait of “Varga girl” and actress, IRISH McCALLA modeling a bikini in a “fishing” themed pin-up pose during a photo shoot at Malibu Beach, California. Portrait by BERNARD OF HOLLYWOOD. No model during the era could stuff a bikini like Irish McCalla. She had an hourglass figure with measurements 39.5-24-38 inches, statuesque legs and a lean, hard-bodied physique. Her physical perfection in the modeling world during the early 1950’s was truly breathtaking. She is best known as a “Alberto Vargas” pin-up model and for her role in the television series, “Sheena, Queen of the Jungle”. The photo is in FINE condition with minor surface, edge and corner wear. There is also tiny pinholes in each corner. The verso has surface wear from being removed from a photo album. I do combine shipping on multiple items. Shipping in Canada and the USA is 12.00.
