This is a RARE original 8 x 10 inch borderless on-set portrait of actor, MARLON BRANDO discussing an upcoming scene with Director, ELIA KAZAN. A superb and youthful candid view of Brando between scenes while filming Elia Kazan’s 1954 crime drama, “ON THE WATERFRONT”. Portrait by DON ORNITZ. The back of the photo has a Globe Photos Agency Stamp with photo credit given to Don Ornitz. “On the Waterfront” was a critical and commercial success and received twelve Academy Award nominations, winning eight, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Marlon Brando), Best Supporting Actress (Eva Marie Saint in her film debut) and Best Director (Elia Kazan).
