This is a VERY RARE original 8 x 10 inch DOUBLE WEIGHT Studio “Proof” portrait of TONY CURTIS and JANET LEIGH for Universal Pictures. This un-retouched Production Proof would be used for Universal Pictures 1954 film, “THE BLACK SHIELD OF FALWORTH”. “Proof Only, Return To Still Dept.” Stamped on verso. The back of the photo is Date Stamped, Feb.2, 1954. The studio release date for the film was Sept.2, 1954. The photo is Matte Finish and in close to FINE/VERY FINE condition with few minor surface creases and waviness to the borders. A Gorgeous Studio Portrait and Possibly an Unpublished Image!
