This is an original 8 x 10 inch full length publicity portrait of “B” film bombshell, MARA CORDAY showing off her gorgeous gams while outfitted in slinky showgirl apparel and surrounded by celebratory balloons. A glamorous Happy New Year themed pin-up view for Universal Pictures in 1955. She had a very colourful career and attained 50’s Cult Status for her roles in three “B” grade Sci-Fi/Horror films, “Tarantula” (1955), “The Giant Claw” and “The Black Scorpion” (both in 1957). She was a showgirl, pinup model and Playboy Playmate in Oct/1958. The photo is in VERY GOOD to FINE condition with a missing upper left hand corner and edge wear.
