This is a RARE original 8 x 10 inch publicity portrait of Tahitian beauty, TARITA during a seductive dance sequence for MGM’s 1962 film, MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY”. Tarita aka Tarita Teriipaia would receive a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film. Romance soon blossomed on-set between Marlon Brando and Tarita and they married shortly after filming was complete in 1962. The photo is in VERY FINE to EXCELLENT condition with minor wear.
