This is a VERY RARE original 7.5 x 9.5 inch DOUBLE WEIGHT full bleed Studio “Proof” portrait of actress, CAROL LYNLEY in a slinky and seductive glamour view as the notorious platinum blonde bombshell, Jean Harlow. Masterfully photographed by BUD FRAKER. This Production Proof was a test shot for Paramount Pictures 1965 biographical film, “HARLOW”. Carroll Baker was Paramount Studio’s final choice to portray Harlow in the film and Carol Lynley appeared in Alex Segal’s low-budget version of “Harlow” filmed in black-and-white eletronovision and released 5 weeks prior to Paramount’s big-budget version. “Unretouched Proof” stamped in the front top right hand corner. Photographers Stamp on verso. The photo is Matte Finish and in VERY FINE condition with minor corner wear. An extremely rare studio proof image! I do combine shipping on multiple items.
