This is a RARE original 7.5 x 9.5 inch borderless publicity portrait of French actress, CATHERINE DENEUVE showcasing her breathtaking beauty in this mirrored image view for Roman Polanski’s 1965 psychological horror film, “REPULSION”. Paper Caption attached on verso. The film was Polanski’s first English-language film and second full length feature production following “Knife in the Water” (1962). Repulsion debuted at the 1965 Cannes Film Festival before receiving theatrical releases internationally. Upon release, Repulsion received considerable critical acclaim and is currently one of Polanski’s greatest works. The photo is in VERY FINE with some trimming to the borders.
