Description

This is a RARE original 8 x 10 inch borderless portrait photo of Swedish actress, LENA BRUNDIN in a striking candid view taken on the set of Mai Zetterling’s 1966 controversial drama, “NATTLEK” aka “NIGHT GAMES”. The photographer captures her luminous semi-nude physique and pensive gaze in the warm glow of the studio lights with a opulent boudoir setting. The film premiered at the 27th Venice International Film Festival where it was considered so controversial that it was shown to a jury in private. The film was also the cause of former child-star, Shirley Temple resignation from the Francisco International Film Festival. Temple denounced the film as “pornography for profit” and was against it being shown at the festival. The photo is in VERY FINE condition with minor wear. I do combine shipping on multiple items.
