This is an original 7.75 x 10 inch publicity photo of RAQUEL WELCH as sexy cave girl, Loana in Hammer Films 1966 production, “ONE MILLION YEARS B.C”. The back of the photo is stamped by author and publicist, Christopher Young. This was one of the images used for the original release posters and advertising for the film. With images of her in a scantily clad fur bikini and measurements 37-22-35, she cemented herself as the new 60’s sex symbol, forever changing the peroxide blonde bombshell persona of the 1950’s. This definitive photo shoot was responsible for her transformation from Hollywood starlet to International Sex Goddess. The photo is in FINE to VERY FINE condition with a horizontal surface impression on the left side of the image. There is also slight trimming to the side borders. ICONIC IMAGE!
