Description

This is a RARE original circa 1983, 8 x 10 inch candid Press Photo of Bond girl, BARBARA CARRERA looking simply chic and sophisticated as she poses for photographers while on a visit to New York City. Portrait by DAVID McGOUGH. Photographers Stamp on verso. There is also a Paper Caption attached which is Dated, Sept.27, 1983. The caption mentions she is in New York City to promote the latest Bond film, “NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN” with Sean Connery reprising his role as James Bond after a 13 year absence. The film was an unofficial remake of THUNDERBALL (1965). She portrayed the role as Spectre Agent, Fatima Blush who was based on Luciana Paluzzi’s character, Fiona Volpe. The photo is Satin Matte Finish and in VERY FINE condition with minor corner wear. The title of the film, “Never Say Never Again” was inspired by Sean Connery’s insistence in 1971, after finishing “Diamonds Are Forever” that he would “never” play Bond again! I do combine shipping on multiple items.
