This is a RARE original circa 1996, 8 x 10 inch studio portrait of Hollywood starlet, ELLEN POMPEO. This may have been a glamour shot taken for publicity purposes for distribution to various agencies for modelling or film work. There is a Resume included from Gold Marshak Liedtke Associates. There is no film credits listed, only a television appearance from a 1996 episode of Law & Order which would be her screen debut. The turning point in her career came in 2002, when she gained wide recognition for her starring role in Brad Silberling’s film drama, “Moonlight Mile”. Pompeo’s big breakthrough role came for her portrayal as Dr. Meredith Grey on ABC’s popular medical drama, “Grey’s Anatomy” (2005-present). Some of her notable film roles include the comedy, “Old School” (2003), the superhero film, “Daredevil” (2003), the caper film, “Art Heist” (2004) and the comedy drama, “Life of the Party” (2005).
