This is a RARE original circa 2005, 8 x 10 inch studio portrait of multi-talented actress, THORA BIRCH. This may have been a glamour shot taken for publicity purposes for distribution to various agencies for modelling or film work. There is a Resume attached from TGA, The Gersh Agency. The last film credit on the resume is the independent crime film, “SLINGSHOT” (2005). Her breakthrough role came in 1999 with the highly acclaimed film, “AMERICAN BEAUTY”. The film brought her international recognition and she was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Actress. In 2001 she played the lead role in “GHOST WORLD” which earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in the Motion Picture Musical or Comedy category. At her zenith, Birch took advantage of her hourglass figure (38D-26-36) attending multiple award shows in dresses with deep cut cleavages that emphasized her voluptuous physique.
