This is an original circa 1955, 8 x 10 inch publicity portrait signed by KIM NOVAK. Publicity for Columbia Pictures film-noir, “5 AGAINST THE HOUSE”. Kim Novak has inscribed and signed the photo in black ink pen, “For Leonard, Best Wishes, Kim Novak”. “Leonard Sorgi” Collection Label also attached on verso. Leonard Sorgi was a Unit Manager for ABC television during the 1950’s-60’s. He was also a Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years. During his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person which were often personalized to him. The photo is in VERY GOOD condition with some light horizontal waves to the surface (mostly noticeable from the back) an minor discoloration in Kim Novak’s hairline (the scanner seems to highlight slight variations in tone).
