Description

This is an original circa mid 1940’s 8.25 x 10 inch full length publicity portrait of actress, ADELE MARA unveiling those gorgeous gams in this slinky and provocatively charged glamour view for Republic Pictures. When her Columbia Pictures contract lapsed, she moved to Republic Pictures, where she became a fixture in the studio’s westerns and outdoor adventures. Some of her more notable roles included, “The Vampires Ghost” (1945), “The Tiger Women” (1945), “Wake of the Red Witch” (1948) with John Wayne, “Angel in Exile” (1948), “Sands of Iwo Jima” (1949) with John Wayne, “California Passage” (1950) and in Don Siegel’s “Count the Hours” (1953).
