This is an original circa 1942, 8 x 10 inch publicity portrait of PRESTON FOSTER with his saucy girlfriend, GENE TIERNEY in a early film role. Publicity for the 20th Century Fox film, “THUNDER BIRDS” aka “SOLDIERS IN THE AIR”. An early war era Hollywood film that was used as propaganda to help boost American morale during WWII and promote Airpower as a means to victory. The photo is in EXCELLENT condition with minor wear.
